Foundations
Foundations is a 3-week leaders in training program designed to grow students into fully-fledged staff members. Students serve and learn alongside their team, hearing from guest speakers, participating in insightful sessions, and learning how to know, follow, and experience Jesus together.
FOUNDATIONS SESSION #1: JULY 7-26, 2024
FOUNDATIONS SESSION #2: August 4-23, 2024
For students who have completed grade 9 or higher.
Cost: $325 + GST
Weeks 1 & 2 are designed to be a time of personal growth and Bible-based learning. All Foundations students will engage in team bonding activities, hear from guest speakers, and participate in sessions about camp ministry and personal growth. Foundationers will also serve together by doing various camp facility chores, and have chances to be involved in program areas.
Week 3 is designed to give students the opportunity to put into practice what they have learned. Each student will serve in an area of camp that their Foundations Leaders have assigned them. They will be mentored and supported by leaders and other Sr. Staff members. Every Foundations student will serve under the leadership of a Sr. Staff member based on what area of camp they will be helping in.

If a student decides that they would like to work at camp the same summer after completing the Foundation program, they can apply to be on staff as a volunteer.
The program begins at 5pm on the first Sunday of the program, and goes until approx 7:00pm each Friday; students then go home for the weekend and return to camp the following Sunday at 3pm.
