How Camp Works

Ready for an awesome week of camp? Here’s what you’ll want to know beforehand

Registration

At registration you will be informed as to which cabin your child will be staying in, you will drop off any medications with our medic and make full registration payments (note: tuck is already included in registration fees). If you still have a balance owing on your child's account, we recommend going online or contacting our office ahead of time to make full payment in order to speed up the registration process.

What to Pack

PARENTS/GUARDIANS SHOULD SEND CAMPERS WITH THE FOLLOWING:

  • sleeping bag/bedding

  • Weather appropriate clothing

  • functional swimwear

  • water bottle

  • Toiletries

  • Bible (if campers do not have a Bible, Redberry would be happy to provide one!)

  • pen or pencil

  • sunscreen and bug spray.

  • Any other personal items campers would like to have with them for camp

Please refrain from sending items such as water guns or pocket knives

If your child is planning on doing horsemanship or skateboarding, they must wear long pants and running shoes. If you are coming to one of our Girls Riding Camps, you will also need to bring several pairs of jeans, riding boots or running shoes, and rubber boots.

Redberry holds to a no phones policy to protect camper privacy. We encourage campers to leave electronics such as phones and laptops, as well as vapes, behind for the week. If you need to be in communication with your child the office will be open 9 am - 4 pm daily for your phone calls. Outside of office hours, there is an answering machine that will be checked daily. Camp is not liable for any lost or stolen items.

A Typical Day at Camp

A typical day in the week for campers will consist of:

  • homemade meals

  • cabin time

  • skills (such as wall climbing, swimming, crafts and horsemanship among others)

  • free time and tuck

  • camp-wide games

  • chapel (singing and a great speaker)

  • a good night’s sleep
